‘Tis the season for writing holiday stories… so I was pretty excited to run across this fun little micro-fiction writing contest.
In Susanna Hill’s Holiday Writing Contest, there were just a few general guidelines. The story must be geared for children ages 12 and under, it must feature a holiday and a countdown, and it must be no more than 250 words. This is what I ended up throwing together. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
